Choose Addons while Installing Applications: Ubuntu Software Center

There has been no new posts in last couple of days as I was travelling. Now that I am back to work, something about the new 'Software Center' in Maverick will be a nice start.

The Software Center came up with yet another impressive feature: Install related addons/plug-ins while installing your favorite applications.

This feature gives me another reason to switch from Synaptic to USC.

I don't know if the feature was already there but I noticed it only today as I have now installed Maverick daily build on one of my systems (earlier I was using virtual box for testing and I used to miss lots of new updates). Though the change log for latest update to USC gives me a hint:

(all): Implemented add-on handling. (or may be this is something else)

Also, there is a nice new "where is it" feature that tells you where in the menu your newly installed application is located (2nd and 3rd image).
