Midori Gets a New Version

Webkit based lightweight web browser Midori gets a new update. New features include:

  1. Auto completion of bookmarks in location entry, bookmark search and dragging of bookmarks into folders.
  2. New accelerated startup mechanism as not all tabs are loaded into memory.
  3. Protection from pages that make Midori crash sometimes. If a page crashes Midori, then its reload will be delayed next time Midori starts.
  4. Larger speed dial thumbnails and no limits for shortcuts.
  5. Performance optimizations and improved adblock compatibility.
  6. Two new extensions : 'Minimize New Tabs' and 'Copy Addresses of Tabs'
  7. Auto completion of multiple words in location bar. 
To install run following commands in terminal: 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:midori/ppa 
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webkit-team/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install midori
