Rate Your Photos with New Shotwell Version

Shotwell, the default photo manager for Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat just got a new version. The new version 0.7 brings lots of new features like importing photos from F-spot. A complete list of new features is below:

  • Easily import photos from F-Spot
  • Rate your photos on a scale of 1-5
  • Filter your photos on the basis of new rating system
  • A new missing files page
  • New category on sidebar to quickly access recently imported photos
  • New sidebar icons
To install run following commands in terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yorba/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install shotwell
