Take a Screenshot of Your Favorite App and Get it Featured in Ubuntu Software Centre

Canonical Design Team just came up with new a post urging Ubuntu users to help update screenshots for their favourite applications so that old outdated one can be phased out.

How this works?

1. Take a screen shot of your favourite application in action.
2. Upload it to http://screenshots.debian.net/upload
3. Your screen shot will be up for a review and if accepted it will be published.

Also, the design team have requested screenshots for available font packages. Here is an excerpt from their blog:

There are over 200 font packages available, but hardly any of them have screenshots. You can do the same as above for each font package, too.

Or you could even write a script that generates a screenshot for every font package. Anyone up for the challenge?
