Ubuntu Tweak 0.5.7 Released with New Ubuntu 10.10 PPAs

Ubuntu Tweak developer TualatriX announced today a new version - 0.5.7 as a gift to the Ubuntu 10.10 users on his blog. The new version comes with lots of bug fixes and updated PPAs for many applications so that Maverick users can have one-click install of their favorite apps.

You can know more about the bug fixes from his blog. Almost all the PPAs are updated with packages for Maverick and more will come as PPA owners add packages for Ubuntu 10.10. So, it would be a good idea to go through the integrated application center in Ubuntu Tweak for easy installation of applications.

You can download the latest version from here

Users who have already added Ubuntu Tweak PPA just need to update the system. If not, then run the following commands to add Ubuntu Tweak PPA and install it:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak
