[Quick Tip] Get Minecraft Cursor Theme for Ubuntu

Minecraft fans, get a cool cursor theme for your system, created by DevaintARTist OMGpotatoes. Not everyone will like these pixelated cursors but Minecraft fans would love these as they are fun to use and are original icons exacted from Minecraft jar file.

  • Download the file from here
  • Copy the minecraft folder to /usr/share/icons
  • Edit as root the index.theme file located in usr/share/icons/default
  • Change the line Inherits=DMZ-White to Inherits=minecraft
  • Log out and come back
  • To revert, restore the line as Inherits=DMZ-White
