[App Updates] Shutter, Minitunes, Xnoise, GPhotoFrame, Classic Menu Indicator

Over last few days many applications have received small updates. Below is a list of these changes with installation instructions.

Shutter (Screenshot Tool)

• Shutter now captures real cursor images
• New 'Show in Folder' right click menu entry that directly takes you to the folder where screenshot is stored
• Many other bug fixes

Run the following commands to install latest version of Shutter:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shutter/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install shutter

Minitunes (Music Player)

• New music search feature
• A new feature that allows you to save and restore playlists between sessions
• “Drop items here” message to the playlist when empty
• Translation Updates

Run the following commands to install Minitunes (Thanks to lffl.org for the PPA)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/minitunes

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install minitunes

Xnoise (Music Player)

• GUI changes (mainly new track progress bar, remove old stuff from settings dialog)
• Easy handling of large collections and faster start-up
• Shows video thumbnails, if available
• Updated translations
• Bug fixes

Run the following commands to install Xnoise:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shkn/xnoise

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install xnoise

GPhotoFrame (Desktop Photo Frame/Slideshow Application)

• Added support for 'Share on Tumblr'
• Added new option for 'Exclude hidden files and folders' to Folder plugin
• Added new Swedish and Ukrainian translations

Classic Menu Indicator (Application Indicator that Shows Classic Gnome Menu in Unity)

• Fixes a bug that required Classic Menu Indicator to be restarted after installing/removing packages

You can install Classic Menu Indicator by running the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:diesch/testing

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install classicmenu-indicator
