Popular Board Game Memoir '44 Comes to Linux as an Online Computer Game

One of the most popular and award winning board game Memoir '44 is now available as an online computer game. Ranked 50 by Board Game Geek, The digital adaptation of the game was long awaited by the fans and now hundreds of players can play this game online.

About Memoir '44 Online

Considering its popularity, the game needs no introduction as many of you may already know about it, but here is a brief description. Memoir '44 is a fun and simple turn based historical game - where players command a horde of little plastic Army men facing-off in dozens of WWII battles on an oversize hex game board.

Now, with the game's growing success, Days of Wonder decided to create a computer adaptation of the game, Memoir '44 Online. Linux Version

To play the game you need to create a new account from here. Once you confirm the account, you will be able to download the Linux Client. The game is Java based so you need to have Java installed on your system. Now run the script you downloaded to start the installation.

Launch the game from Applications menu to start the auto-updater. After updating the client, you can start playing the game entering your user name and password.
