WYSIWYG Ebook Editor Sigil 0.5 Released with New Features and Improvements


A new version for free, open source and cross platform WYSIWYG ebook editor Sigil has been released. Sigil is easily one of the best ebook editors for Linux and is quite actively developed and maintained.

Major changes in This Release (version 0.5)
  • Inline spell check in code view
  • Support for PCRE in search and replace
  • Translations into 15 languages
  • Added keyboard shortcut manager
  • Added preference dialog
  • Added image selection dialog for inserting existing images into book and code views
  • Now allows for deleting multiple metadata items
  • Drag and drop support for images to book and code views
  • Improved scrolling
  • Improved zoom levels
