Credit card size ARM Linux computer, Raspberry Pi is now available for purchase. The first batch is yet to arrive from China as there is some delay but you can start placing orders on the links below.
Just search for Raspberry Pi, and then follow the normal shopping and checkout process.
Currently Model B priced at $ 35 is on sale. Model A ($25) will be available later this year. The main difference from the Model A is that Model B include an Ethernet port, and 2 USB ports. Also, the sale has been limited to one unit per person.
We are launching with Model Bs as there has been a much larger demand for them from the community. This first launch is aimed at software and hardware enthusiasts, makers, teachers and others who want to build exciting things with the Raspberry Pi before the official educational launch, which will happen later in 2012.
Apparently, everyone is trying to get one so both the sites are having tough time handling traffic. After repeated attempts, I was able to load Raspberry Pi product page on farnell.com. Unfortunately, RS Components is still down for me.
