Final Unity Update Lands in Ubuntu 12.04

Unity 5.10 has been released with massive bug fixes and improvements. This is last release for both Unity and Unity 2D, so more or less this is going to be your Ubuntu 12.04 desktop.

Lets look at some visible changes in this release:
  • Configure HUD key in gnome-control-center for both Unity 2D and 3D
  • Dash Home Lens now has full search field
  • Improved card view in lenses (horizontal view used in video lens, Gwibber lens etc)
  • Better Ubuntu Software Center and Unity Launcher Integration. Any application currently being installed is automatically added to Unity launcher with a nice animation.
  • Huge amount of fixes. Full changelog here.
A few issues still persist but they will most likely be fixed before final release or in first update.
