Adventure Game 'The Journey Down' Coming to Linux on May 18th


Indie game studio SkyGoblin are re-releasing their popular adventure game The Journey Down: Chapter One as a commercial remake.

Their original game is free, but the remake has new features like a fully voiced cast, HD art and animations, more locations and characters, more story and puzzles etc.

The Journey Down is a point-and-click adventure  that tells the story of two individuals who run a gas station but were forced to find other means of making money when the power company threatens to cut their electrical supply off. Fortunately at about the same time a young woman arrives at doorstep looking for a book, and she willing to reward handsomely should you be able to help her out with an errand.

The game has beautiful art and animations and it will remind you of Grim Fandango. Check out the teaser:


The Journey Down remake will be available on May 18th for $13.99 (Windows, Mac and Linux). Original game can be downloaded for free from here (Windows only).
