New EA Games Released in Ubuntu Software Center, Nothing Exciting
Few days back, we reported that Electronic Arts (EA) is presenting at UDS and a new game deal might be announced.
Now, few hours back two HTML5 games by EA have landed in Ubuntu Software Center.
The games are Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances and Lord of Ultima.
This is a bit disappointing, as they are already playable in Chrome and Firefox from their official websites and Chrome Web Store.
Also, I installed Lord of Ultima from Ubuntu Software Center and its nothing but a bookmark to game website. Same is the case with with Command and Conquer and both these games are launched in your default web browser. So no native Linux games by EA.
These new games are not bad by any means and it is definitely a good start but I really hope these are not the *only* games that will be released from EA. Lets wait for EA's session in UDS which has been postponed to 9th.
Thanks to Tacco
