New Nautilus Lands in Ubuntu 12.10

A new version of Nautilus file manager has landed in Ubuntu 12.10. This version includes all the new features that have been added recently to simplify the user interface.

Many useful features were removed too, you can read our article for details.

Some of the changes I missed:

Nautilus now displays search results as you type.

A screenshot of new list view (compact mode and tree-view modes have been removed).

New cog menu.

Global menu is not showing on top panel in this version. But this may change in future.

Full changelog for Nautilus 3.5.4 can be found here.
