Doom 3 Ported to Android

In November last year, John Carmack open sourced Doom 3. Since than many developers are working to improve the source code.

In one such effort, Polish developer Krzysztof Klinikowski has ported the game to Android. Check out a video of Doom 3 running on Android (HTC Desire HD).

The game runs at 25-30 fps for now but according to the developer, with some optimization, even better performance can be achieved. He has also rewritten entire OpenGL ES 2.0 renderer to port the game.
