Multiplayer airship pirate game AirBuccaneers HD will have a Linux version.

In the game, You play as a Buccaneer or a Viking and fly around in hot air balloons armed with cannons. The combat demands seamless teamwork and co-operation. The goal of the game is to take down enemy airships and conquer ancient Scandinavia.

The game is powered by Unity 4.0 game engine. Check out gameplay video:

AirBuccaneers HD is being developed by LudoCraft game studio. Recently they blogged about their plans to support Linux and Mac platforms:

It was apparently very obvious that we were talking about the Mac and Linux support of AirBuccaneers. Here’s what we can tell you about this. We have been able to run AirBuccaneers on both platforms and they ran really nicely. But they’re still far from done and there won’t be a Mac or Linux build for a while still. Nevertheless, they are coming at some point in the future, so just stay patient.
