Plasma Active 3 Released, Try it Now on Your Desktop

Plasma Active is an user interface for all types of tablets, smartphones and touch computing devices such as settop boxes, smart TVs, home automation or in-vehicle infotainment. Plasma Active is a joint project by the KDE community, basysKom and open-slx.

Plasma Active 3 has been released with many features.

• Files is a new default application in Plasma Active.

• Calligra Active and Kontact Touch brings office application suite and contacts application.

Vivaldi is the first tablet to ship Plasma Active. The tablet is currently not available for pre-order so if you wan't to try it on your desktop or another touch device, grab a Kubuntu Active daily iso. More installation media can be found here.
