Sigil 0.6 Released with new Features [Ebook Editor]

Sigil is one of the best ebook editors available for Linux. It features multiple modes: book view, code view and preview mode with support for WYSIWYG editing in book view.

A new version of Sigil has been released with following changes:
  • Goto Link or Style
  • Saved Searches
  • Clip Manager
  • Deleting unused images and styles
  • Edit capability in TOC generation
  • Inserting special characters
  • Change text casing
  • Reformatting CSS files
  • Various style and file usage reports
  • Ease of linking stylesheets and images
  • Inserting links and anchors
  • Opening files/images with external editors
  • Customise the GUI fonts/sizes/colors
  • Bug fixes
To install Sigil in Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10, run the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rgibert/ebook
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sigil
