GODUS, New Linux Game by Peter Molyneux [Dungeon Keeper and Populous Creator]

Much hyped god game GODUS has been fully funded on Kickstarter. The game is being developed by Peter Molyneux, who created god games Dungeon Keeper, Populous, and Black & White.

GODUS blends the power, growth and scope of Populous with the detailed construction and multiplayer excitement of Dungeon Keeper and the intuitive interface and technical innovation of Black & White.

The game will have single player and multiplayer modes, cross-platform gameplay, sandbox worlds, strategic battles, living populations, and the power to create, change, and destroy the very structure of the world.

A Linux version of the game has been confirmed as the project shot past £525,000 stretch goal. The game is expected to be released in September, 2013.

If you missed the campaign, you can still pledge for the game via PayPal. For more details, see this page.
