Steam Linux Beta Now Available to All, Humble Indie Bundle 7 Launched with 6 Amazing Games

The Steam Linux beta client is now available to all. The Steam website now features a dedicated Linux section which is visible to all users.

Steam client download page has been updated and it points you to Steam deb package when using Linux. Steam recommends Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and suggests you to download it if you are not using Linux.

A GitHub repository has also been set where you can report any bugs related to Steam Linux Beta. Currently, Steam Linux beta has 39 titles but many more are coming.

Another good news for Linux gamers is the launch of Humble Indie Bundle 7. The bundle includes following titles:

The Binding of Isaac (and its DLC, Wrath of the Lamb), Closure, Shank 2, Snapshot, and Indie Game: The Movie. If you pay over the average, you’ll also get Dungeon Defenders (and its DLC) and Legend of Grimrock.

All the games in this bundle are amazing. People who like role playing games/dungeon crawlers will love Legend of Grimrock. Dungeon Defenders, which is a combination action RPG/tower defense game, has also made its Linux debut. Snapshot was long waited by Linux gamers and finally this innovative platformer is available to us. All in all, this is not a bundle you would like to miss.

Just head to Humble Indie Bundle website and pay what you want to grab 6 awesome titles. All these games can be redeemed in Ubuntu Software Center.
