OpenShot Video Editor Sees a Major Release

OpenShot Video Editor version 2.3 has been released with many new features, performance improvements and bug fixes.

Some of the new features include:

  • Zooming improvements
  • Re-addition of razor tool

  • New preview window
  • Performance improvements for real-time previews
  • New documentation
  • Audio improvements
  • Improved export dialog
  • Translation updates

To install OpenShot in Ubuntu, run the following commands.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openshot.developers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openshot-qt
