Cardapio is an alternative application menu launcher to the default menu bar that comes with Ubuntu. It can also be used as an standalone application launcher just like Gnome Do. Cardapio have a native gtk interface that integrates well with the gnome desktop environment. It also includes a plugin system that integrates different types search capabilities like file search, google search, youtube video search etc.

A new version of Ubuntu One client for Kubuntu 10.10 has been released. The version is first alpha release following a earlier pre-alpha version. Most of the features work fine for Kubuntu but there may be bugs.

Everyone loves Faenza icon set. The square tiles are just perfect for Ubuntu Desktops. Now john007 came up with a new modified version of faenza icon set. The icon set named Faenza-Cupertino modifies the colors of the folders from brown to blue and other rest icons are same as original Faenza theme.
The new set fits perfectly with Elemnetary theme.
Release Schedule Updated for Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal

The release schedule for Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" had been updated yesterday. The final release is expected on 28th April, 2011. In all there will be five Alphas, one Beta and a Release Candidate before the final version is released.
