Free Game Alliance is a collection five free and open source games spread across a variety of genres. All these games are cross platform and work on Linux, Mac and Windows. The initiative was started by Atomic Blue, makers of MMORPG PlaneShift. However, FGA is made by all the projects participating in it.

Medibuntu (Multimedia, Entertainment & Distractions In Ubuntu) is a repository of packages that cannot be included into the Ubuntu distribution for legal reasons, copyright, license and patents (e.g. advanced DVD playback support, multimedia codecs etc.)
