Canonical has pushed a security update that will disable all Sun Java plugins in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, 10.10 and 11.04. Thus the only alternative now will be to use OpenJDK from repositories or manually download Java from Oracle website (or from unofficial PPAs).

This feature was used by the gamers to install Linux distributions like Yellow Dog Linux (YDL). While this was not only a hobby for many to show off Linux running on PS3, many other users installed Linux to add extra functionality to PS3 to make it one stop box for gaming plus computing.

Epic Inventor is a new side scrolling, rpg/adventure, RTS and crafting game by Pixel Prone Games. The game is inspired by Terraria but with its own new additions and features. A new beta has been released for Windows, Mac and Linux recently. The game is available on on Desura too.

Native Client (NaCl) is amazing new technology by Google and it has shown its power last week with release of games like Bastion on Chrome Web Store. In fact the best is yet to come. What is interesting that NaCl has got lots of support from developers and we will see some cool new games and apps coming to Chrome, and so to Linux.
