Elementary Studio : A New Dark Theme Based on Elementary Theme

 

Elementary Studio is a new dark theme by Azraelthe7thMurderer which is based on Elementary theme by DanRabbit.

The theme sports a color combination of dark gray and blue and looks great on desktop and will be liked especially by lovers of dark themes. Other features include new metacity, scrollbars and icons (based on humanity-dark and elementary icons). Though I think it looks best with Faenza-Dark icons.

Metacity controls are not oriented as per the default themes that come with Ubuntu if you are used to that. They can be changed easily using Ubuntu Tweak. Just uncheck Custom and check Left under Window Manager Settings (you can also do the same thing by modifying gconf settings)

This is only a first release, so there may be a few bugs and some tweaks may be needed. If you face some issues you can let the developer know about this on DeviantArt.
