AirMech RTS Game Now Public, Play it Now on Linux [Native Client/Chrome Web Store]


AirMech game has now gone public on Chrome Web Store. Inspired by Classic game Herzog Zwei, the game features fast paced strategic action oriented gameplay and beautiful graphics.

AirMech was on limited alpha testing on Chrome Web Store for some time. However, now everyone can try the game. To play the game you need to login with your Google account. You can also make AirMech an standalone game by creating a shortcut on the desktop or menu and pin it on Unity launcher etc.

Chrome/Chromium 17+ have enabled native client support by default on Linux. However, if you are not able to play the game, follow the instructions below. You will need a decent graphic card with 3D acceleration for game to work.
  • Type chrome://flags in address bar and enable Override software rendering list (browser restart required)
  • Make sure that Native Client is enabled in chrome://flags
  • Use Chrome. Chromium still may have some issues with Native Client and older graphic cards

P.S. There will be a native Linux version too.
