Trine 2 For Linux Now Available
Much awaited game Trine 2 is now available for Linux. Made by Frozenbyte, the game is sequel to one of the most popular action/platfomer game Trine which was released in 2009 and debuted on Linux with Humble Frozenbyte Bundle.
About Trine 2
You play as one of the Three Heroes who make their way through dangers untold in a fantastical fairy tale world. Solve physics-based puzzles with fire, water, gravity and magic and climb the tallest trees and towers in the enchanted forest. Trine 2 also has online co-op mode.
Please note that:
There is no official statement about the release yet. However, in last couple of days some Linux users have bought the game and have successfully installed on their systems. So a press release about Linux version launch should be imminent.
There is also a comment from Frozenbyte team made on their blog on March 29:
Hi guys, sorry for the few delays about Linux, there’s been some non-Linux related things that have got in the way. However next week will have the good news, so things are finally moving forward. Watch this space.

I would advise you to wait for an announcement as you won't have to wait much longer now anyway. For more info on player experiences of Trine 2 on Linux, see this and this forum thread.
