Disney Channel Show Mentions that 'Open Source Code is Unsafe'

In a recent episode of Disney Channel series 'Shake it Up', it was mentioned that open source code is unsafe and may contain virus.

Someone has uploaded a part of the episode on Youtube. In the episode, a kid says that because of using open source code to save time, computer got infected by virus hidden in the code.

This doesn't seem deliberate and script writers may have misinterpreted open source as free pirated software. Disney is open source friendly and in past it has released source code for some of its software.
