Download the tarball from here, extract it and run the file Firefox from the folder.
To install from PPA, add the Firefox 4 stable PPA to your sources. Just run the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox
