Customise "Latte Dock" on KDE with Some Handy Presets

Latte dock is slick dock app for KDE that allows you to customise your Plasma desktop with different looks and layouts.

The customisation options can be a bit overwhelming as it is a very powerful tool. However, some preset profiles are now available (thanks to developers) that allows you to setup up your docks in just few clicks.

Latte dock can be installed on Kubuntu / KDE Neon from a script or deb package we created for you.

To begin importing presets, first backup your existing profile from "Latte Settings > Tweaks > Backup".

Download presets from here. Now import them via "Latte Settings > Tweaks > Backup".

Few tips:
  • You can justify a dock to make it look like panel
  • If the text/icons on dock seem to be fuzzy, remove shadows from latte settings
You can also share your own latte dock customisation by sharing "latterc" files you get after taking a backup.

While latterc should not include any personal information, you can always extract and check latterc files to make sure that there is no private information in it.
